Parents Guide to Google Classroom
How to log on to Google Classroom
Laptop/PC/Mac
1. Open your browser (Chrome/Firefox/Safari/Edge)
2. Go to www.google.com
3. Click on ‘Sign in’ in the top right corner of the browser window.
a. If someone is already signed in, you will need to sign them out first.
4. Type in your child’s email address and click next.
5. Type in your child’s password and click next.
6. Now you will see that you are signed into your Google Apps for education account
7. Click on the nine squares icon (the waffle icon) at the top right corner to see the Google apps open to you.
8. You should see the classroom app, click on it.
9. You should now be able to see your class. Click on it to take you to the class home page.

iOS/Android/Tablet access
- Open your app store and search for ‘Google classroom’.
2. Download the app.
3. Once downloaded, open the app and click ‘Get Started’.
4. Log in using your child’s email and password.
5. You should now be able to see your class. Click on it to take you to the class home page.
