First Weeks Back

Green, Purple and Yellow Classes have made a great start to the new school year. They are enjoying their new learning and getting to grips with the new routines in their classrooms. We've had lots of fun in English reading our beautiful book Bog Baby by Jeanne Willis. We even discovered a mysterious habitat in our classroom and built our own habitats in the Copse. We became cartographers in geograhy, drawing maps of our school site; musicians in music exploring pitch and artists in art and design, where we experimented with mixing primary colours to paint Kandinsky inspired concentric circles. Yellow Class also enjoyed their first Forest School session with Mr Anderson where they created shelters for a miniature animal.
