TT Rock Stars ROCK HEROES!

This week, we have inducted our first chort of children into our Times Tables Rock Stars 'Rock Hero Hall of Fame'.

The inductees are children who are able to complete the TT Rock Star challenges by answering question in an average time of less than one second! This gives them the TTRS status of ROCK HERO. Our Rock Heroes get to sign one of our 'Hal of Fame' guitars too.

TT Rock Stars has been a great addition to our school: the outcomes of the weekly battles between the various classes or phases are always eagerly anticipated when they are announced in Star of the Week; the children love finding out who the MVPs are each week; certificates are also given out to improved speed, accuracy, etc.

Being able to recall times tables (& their associated divison facts) is vital. Good knowledge of tables is vital not just for multiplication & division but for fractions, percentages, decimals, ratio, proportion, etc. It's also important to be able to work out how much you've one with a £2 stake on Welsh Reign in the 2.30 at Chepstow.
