Spring Newsletter 5 [Friday 3rd February]
Dear Parents & Carers
On Tuesday 7th February it is Safer Internet Day. We know how important it is to keep our children safe online; we talk to the children about this continuously at Woodlands. However, it’s always good to have an event like this to help bring an even sharper focus on the issue. On Monday, Mr Grant will be leading a whole school assembly about Safer Internet Day – this year’s theme is ‘Want to talk about it? Making space for conversations about life online.’ The Woodlands’ internet safety elves (along with Mr Grant) will be posting activities on Google Classroom on Monday. Please look at these with your children, it’s so important that you can have a dialogue with them about what they’re doing online no matter what age they are. You can find other use eSafety resources & links on the school website https://www.woodlandsschoolformby.co.uk/page/e-safety-information-online-resources/124552
I am looking forward to seeing you at our parents evenings next week

Last word
I’ve been reading a book about the history of paper towels…
It’s absolutely absorbing.
