Spring Newsletter 3 [Friday 20th January]
Dear Parents & Carers
Please keep an eye out for another letter/email being sent today which will outline what is happening at Woodlands with regards to the proposed industrial action by teacher members of the National Education Union.
Yesterday, you should have received information about our upcoming parents evenings & details of how to book your appointments. The Woodlands IT elves tell me you simply have to visit the parents evening part of the School Spider app. These parents evenings are for children in reception through to Y6 (our nursery class parents evenings for N2s will be held after February half term).
This week’s ‘nudges’ to help you start conversations about your children’s learning are as follows…
Nursery

Can you make 5 in many different ways?

This week, our whole school attendance is 94.9%. We had no classes with 100% attendance this week & 4 classes reaching or exceeding our 97% target: Blue Class (99.1%), Purple Class (99.6%), Yellow Class (97.6%) & 3/4M (97.3%).
We had 3 classes who had no late marks this week: 3/4M, 4T & 5/6P. We had 29 late marks across the whole school. 22 late marks were ‘before the register closed’ (that’s before 9.20am) & 7 late marks ‘after the register has closed’, that’s after 9.20am.
Have a good weekend.

Last word revisited
I’m bad at four things:
remembering, counting and remembering.
