Red Nose Day 2023: a message from our House Captains
Dear Parents & Carers,
We would like to inform you of an upcoming event on Friday 17th March. This special occasion is Red Nose Day 2023.
Red Nose Day is very important to an amazing charity - Comic Relief. It supports families with children that have emotional and/or physical needs. To help these children your child can buy a Red Nose from the School's House Captains at morning break time. Send your child into school with £2.50 for one Red Nose. These will be sold on Monday 13th March continuing to Friday 17th March. EYFS & KS1 please send you child with the correct money in a named envelope.
We are giving your child/children the opportunity to wear their own clothes on 17th March, although this does come with a small fee: £1. We understand money is tight for many households at the moment so, if you have more than one child in Woodlands, you are able to bring in £2 per family.
If your child has a good sense of humour, encourage them to participate in our joke competition. This will take place on the morning of Red Nose Day, where your child will tell their joke in front of their class - although this whole event is optional.
