Week commencing 12th December 2022

Date: 15th Dec 2022 @ 4:23pm

Brrr... This week we have been investigating the frozen water tray that was left outside in our nursery garden. Some of the toys were stuck in the ice and we had to try and free them. We used different tools to chip away at the ice and we also poured water on to it to see if it would melt. We felt the pieces of ice and thought of different words such as 'cold', 'wet', 'slippery' to describe it.

At home - Can you see any frost or ice? What does it feel like?

During pilates this week we had great fun using the parachute. We stretched up high to lift the parachute above our heads and we bent down low to bring it back down again. We took turns lying underneath it and watched it as it moved up high and down low.

At home - Perhaps you could make up a dance or sequence of movements that stretch up high and bend down low. Can you remember any of our pilates moves to show to your family?
