This week we are going to read ‘The Great Pet Sale’ by Mick Inkpen. We will think about which pet we would choose if we went to the pet sale and explain our choices giving our reasons.

Then we will paint pictures of the pet we would choose. We hope you enjoy looking at our art gallery.

At home - Can you explain why you made a particular choice and give your reasons? It might be about something you like to eat or a game you choose to play.

We are also going to be continuing to use our super subitising skills as we look at numbers within 5, noticing what they look like on a 5 frame as well as matching quantities to numerals.
