Mission Statement

Week beginning 6th March 2023

Date: 3rd Mar 2023 @ 12:11pm

This week we will be using our coding skills to program Beebot (a small floor robot) around the zoo. We will use the commands turn, left, right, forwards and backwards to make sure that Beebot gets to see all the animals.

At home - Do you have any electronic toys? How do you turn it on/ off? What else can you make it do?

We are going to be drawing some pictures of zoo animals and making up our own stories based on the book Dear Zoo. We will think carefully about what each animal looks like and adjectives that describe them.

At home – Draw your favourite animal. What does it look like?  Can you think of some words to describe it?

We had great fun playing outside in the snow. We explored the different prints that our boots made in the snow, made snow angels and worked together to build our snowman.
