Week beginning 5th December

Date: 1st Dec 2022 @ 3:31pm

This week we are going to be looking at a wonderful story called 'Star in the jar'. We will be thinking about what makes a special friend and what things are special to us in our lives. We will be making choices and giving reasons for our choices.

We will be looking at sources of light, both natural and artificial.

You could help your child by looking at things that light up in your home.

In mathematics we are looking at time. We will be learning the days of the week and months of the year. We will be ordering things that we do in a typical school day.

You could help your child at home by talking through what they do before they come to school and what they do when they get home.

This week we have been looking at Van Gogh's Starry night and music to accompany it. We have created our own starry night paintings using tinfoil, we have used chalk and dough to make starry patterns.
