Nursery Week Beginning 21st April 2025

This week we are beginning our new theme Down at the Farm. We will begin by reading the story Farmer Duck by Martin Waddell.

We will discuss where our food comes from and plant seeds in our nursery garden. We will learn how to look after them and what plants need to grow.

At home – Perhaps you could plant some seeds either in a garden, window box or pot. What do your seeds need to grow?

We planted sunflower seeds. We will enjoy watching them grow.

In maths, we are going to explore 2D shapes.  We will sort them in different ways and see if we can spot any shapes in our environment.
