Week beginning 16th January 2023

Date: 19th Jan 2023 @ 4:06pm

This week we have been reading the story 'The Three Little Pigs.' We retold the story using puppets and we sequenced the story using picture cards. As we retold the story, we tried to remember to use the story language that we have heard such as "Once upon a time" and "I'll huff and I'll puff."

At home - Have you got a favourite story? Can you retell it to someone in your family?

We have enjoyed drawing pictures of the pigs in the story. We thought very carefully about the shapes that we would need to use for the different parts of their bodies. Here are a selection. We hope that you like them. (Pictures are attached at the bottom)

At home - Can you draw some of the characters from your favourite story? What shapes will you need to use?

During the cold weather this week we have also been exploring the ice and the frost. We thought about what it felt like and we watched it melt as the weather got warmer.
