Spring Term 2

Date: 4th Apr 2025 @ 3:43pm

We have continued to have so much fun this half term and have taken part in a variety of different activities once again. Our lessons in 'art' have included making clay relief tiles to show aspects of the architecture of Florence Cathedral. In science, we have used newton meters and made parachutes as part of our 'Forces' topic and also participated in the British Science Week (Amazing Adaptation) Live Lesson. Our Outdoor Games unit has been all about rugby skills and drills and we have continued with the Inter-House cross country challenge. On top of all that, we have had sessions from Lisa and Erin from NTC Formby Taekwondo, Jahn and Georgina from TriKidz and have engaged with the Step into the NHS project. World Book Day was a highlight of this term as we were able to enjoy some reading in class and also went over to the Infants to share reading with some of the younger children. We also did our 'book swap' activity aswell. We hope that you enjoy looking through the photographs below showing us 'in action' ...
