Nursery Week Commencing 21st October 2024

Date: 18th Oct 2024 @ 4:48pm

This week, we are going to reread one of our favourite stories 'Hairy Maclary' by Lynley Dodd. We will use pictures to retell the story to our friends and we will make up our own versions of the story.

At home - Have you got a favourite story? Can you tell it to your grown up?

We are also going to be practising both our gross and fine motor skills. Squiggle While you Wiggle is one of our favourite activities and it helps to improve our strength and coordination getting us ready for writing.

In maths, we are going to continue looking at and making our own repeating patterns. We will also be learning and singing some counting songs.

At home - Can you remember some of the counting songs that we sing in Nursery? Can you teach them to your family?

We have enjoyed making bubbling potions this week. We used bubbly paint and had great fun popping the bubbles!

Outdoors, we have been busy building dens. We had to work as a team and share and listen to each other's ideas.
