Nursery Week Beginning 9th October 2023

This week we will continue to learn about houses and homes and the different types of homes that people live in. We are going to use the solid shapes to build models of our houses. We will have to think very carefully about the different shapes that we will need and which ones will balance.  We will use teamwork to work with our friends to build our models.

At home - Talk about your home and what it is like. Can you name some of the different rooms in your home?

In maths, we are going to look at repeating patterns. We will identify and then copy and continue the AB patterns.

At home -Can you use some toys or objects around your home to make some repeating patterns? Ask your grown up to make a pattern and see if you can copy it.
