Nursery Week Beginning 4th December 2023

This week we are going to continue to explore our emotions and feelings using the whole school book 'An Emotional Menagerie.'

We are also going to introduce the children to another traditional tale 'The Elves and the Shoemaker.' We will link this tale to kindness and what we can do to be kind to each other. 

At home - What could you do to help at home? Perhaps you could tidy your bedroom or help to set the table?

In maths, we are continuing to practise our counting and subitising skills, recognising representations of 1,2 and 3.

We will find pairs of objects and match pairs such as socks, shoes and wellies.

At home - Can you find and sort some pairs?  

This week we have been very busy preparing for Christmas. We had great fun making some decorations for the Christmas tree in the hall and we decorated some trees in our classroom too.
