Nursery Week Beginning 31st march 2025

Date: 27th Mar 2025 @ 8:50am

This week we are continuing our learning about spring and Easter. We will read the story 'We're Going on an Egg Hunt' by Laine Mitchell  and Louis Shea. We will predict what the story might be about and the season in which the story is set.

We will decorate our own Easter eggs and we may even take part in our own treasure hunt!

In maths, we are going to continue to practise our subitising skills and we are going to have a particular focus on the number 6. We will look at numerals and match them to different quantities.

At home - Can you spot any numerals around you?

After our learning this term about zoo animals and pets, we are particularly looking forward to our visit from ZooLab this week. We will learn about a variety of different animals and how to look after them.

Our rhyme of the week this week is Mary, Mary Quite Contrary.
