Nursery Week Beginning 2nd October 2023

This week we will be talking about our homes and families. We will discuss who is in our family and we will draw pictures of our families. We will also talk about our homes and the different types of homes that people live in. We will paint pictures and  use our construction equipment to build models of our homes.

At home - Discuss who is in your family? Can you talk about what you enjoy doing with your family?

We lay on our stomachs to draw self portraits. This strengthens our core muscles and helps to get our bodies ready for writing.

In maths, we are continuing to sort a variety of objects and classroom equipment. We will also be learning some counting songs.

At home - Can you sort some household objects? Perhaps you could help to tidy up by sorting the knives and forks at dinner time or the toys in your bedroom at bedtime?
