Nursery Week Beginning 26th February 2024

We are continuing our topic all about Healthy Me. This week, we will use pictures to order and retell the story 'The Enormous Turnip.'

At home - Can you tell your family what happened in the story? Can you remember the different characters who tried to help?

We are also going to explore and investigate a selection of vegetables, discussing what they look like as well as how they feel and smell. We will try and think of lots of words to describe them.

In maths, we are practising our counting and subitising skills, focusing particulary on numbers within 4. We will also begin to match some numerals to quantities.

At home - can you spot any numbers around you?

We were very excited to look at the fire engine when it came to visit our school.
