Nursery Week Beginning 25th November 2024

Date: 20th Nov 2024 @ 11:30am

To end our learning about the story of Little Red Riding Hood, we made some cookies with Holly our school chef. We mixed the ingredients and shaped and decorated our cookies. They were delicious!

This week, we are also going to introduce another traditional tale 'The Elves and the Shoemaker.' We will link this tale to kindness and what we can do to be kind to each other.

At home - What can you do to help at home? Perhaps you could tidy your toys away or help to set the table?

In maths, we are going to practise our counting and subitising skills, recognising representations of 1, 2 and 3. We will also begin to understand that, when counting, the last number said is the total number in the group.

At home - Practise your counting skills by helping around the house. For example, could you get the right amount of knives and forks to set the table?
