Nursery Week Beginning 22nd April 2024

This week we will use our coding skills to direct Beebot (a small floor robot) around the garden. We will use the commands turn, left, right, forwards and backwards to make sure that Beebot finds all the minibeasts in the garden.

At home - Do you have any electronic toys at home? How do you turn them on/ off? What else can you make it do?

In maths, we are continuing to name and describe common 2D shapes. We will sort them in a variety of ways looking carefully at their properties. 

At home - Can you spot any 2D shapes around you?

In our outdoor classroom, we spotted some worms and woodlice. We looked at them very carefully and talked about what we could see.
