Nursery Week Beginning 19th June 2023

This week we will be investigating floating and sinking. We will discuss the terms 'float' and 'sink' and talk about what they mean and we will predict which items we think will float and which items we think will sink. Then we will sort them into sets according to whether they float or sink.

At home – Can you find some items that float and some that will sink?

In maths we will continue to practise our super subitising skills and match quantities to numerals.

At home - Show your grown up how we can subitise small quantities without having to count.
