Nursery Week Beginning 17th April 2023

This week we are beginning our new theme Down at the Farm. We will begin by reading the story Farmer Duck by Martin Waddell.

We will discuss where our food comes from and we will plant some seeds in our nursery garden. We will learn how to look after them and what plants need to grow.

At home – Perhaps you could plant some seeds either in a garden, window box or pot. What do your seeds need to grow?

In maths we will continue to explore 2D shapes.  We will sort them in different ways and see if we can spot any shapes in our environment.

At home – Can you spot any shapes around you?

This week we took part in the Woodlands' mile run. We went on the field and ran around the running track. This activity is good for our hearts and helps to keep us healthy. It was great fun and we can't wait to do it again!
