Nursery Week Beginning 16th September 2024

Date: 11th Sep 2024 @ 5:31pm

Welcome back! We have enjoyed welcoming back some old faces to Nursery and meeting new ones too. All the children have settled in so well to Nursery and have been busy exploring our setting and making new friends.

This week we will be thinking about ourselves and some of the things that we enjoy doing, both at home with our families and at Nursery. We will join in with lots of 'getting to know you' circle games. We will soon learn the names of all of our friends in our class.

We are reading one of our favourite stories 'Hairy Maclary' by Lynley Dodd. We will talk about the story, retell it to our friends and sequence the events in it.

In maths, we will begin to learn and join in with some counting songs and rhymes.

At home - Talk about what you enjoy doing at Nursery. Can you remember the names of some of the friends that you have made?

This week, we enjoyed exploring our outdoor learning area. We spotted some creatures and looked carefully at the different coloured leaves we could see.
