We have been looking at the string section of the orchestra and in particular the violin and viola. Last week, we watched a video of a young violinist playing Paganini's Caprice No. 24; a famously complex work for solo violin. This week, we listened to Handel's Passacaglia in G minor and had to comment on the different dynamics of the piece as well as suggest how it made us feel. We also enjoyed learning some songs/rhymes with actions - Postman Song, Apple Tree Song and finally Oliver Twist.
