Art - Italian Renaissance

In Art, we have been studying the different techniques used by the Italian Renaissance painters including Leonardo da Vinici and Michelangelo. The Italian Renaissance was a period in Italian history covering the 15th and 16th centuries. Painting on plaster (either wet, as a fresco, or dry, as a mural) was one of the features of this period of art. We designed sunshine patterns and used acrylic paints to present our designs on plaster plates. Some of the plaster on our plates was completely dry and some people had slightly damp plaster to deal with. We are very proud of the results.
